Townley Dyestuffs offer a full range of dyestuffs for the Paper, Textile and Ink Industries. We specialise in liquid blending of products including dyestuffs from 25 kilos to 1000 kilos quantities. We manufacture a complete range of auxiliaries products for both textile and non textile applications. We are in a position to offer a bespoke blending service for products as requested.
History
Townley Dyestuffs is a family business based in Hale, Cheshire. It was established in the early 1940’s By J. E. Cockhill. Due to his early death in 1948, his elder son, Peter Cockhill became Managing Director and a few years later was joined by his younger brother, Roger, as Sales Director.
Following the retirement of Peter Cockhill the business has been run by Roger since 1992 when it moved into it’s new premises in Cheshire. His son Andrew joined him in the business over 15 years ago.
In 1999 Townley Dyestuffs became exclusive UK agents for Steiner S.A. of Rouen France for their range of Liquid Dyestuffs for the Paper Industry. Their Direct and Basic Dyestuffs are now part of the Townley Range of Products.
